What Others Say

This was by far our Best Buying Experience. This dealership not only had a family atmosphere but everyone was courteous, helpful and friendly. Our sales person, Katie Reid, was a breath of fresh air. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in every way. It was a pleasure working with her. Our finance person, Greg Goode, made the signing of the paperwork a delight. He was quick to answer any and all questions that we had. Thankful for the positive experience. We found this dealership to be honest, customer friendly and a place of integrity. We felt no pressure from anyone to make this purchase. That was a first for us!

The jeep was listed online at the price of 24065. Cust went in on Monday May 20th to inquire on the jeep and it was sent out to fix a problem with the windshield wipers that would not turn off. Customer told the salesman where he would like to be on a deal price wise. Customer contacted the dealership on Thursday May 23 to inquire on the status. Customer was told that the jeep was back and they were going to fix it in house but I could come and see it and drive it and discuss a deal. Customer came in on Friday morning May 24th drove the jeep and sat down to make an offer. Customer made an offer and the salesman presented the offer to the sales counter. The salesman brought back a counter offer with the jeep price listed as 25065, $1000 more than advertised. When questioned, they advised it was due to having to fix the windshield wipers BCM. Customer asked had the price changed on line and pulled up the jeep online and it still was being advertised as 24065 online. Customer understands that there are expenses incurred with this repair BUT the dealership knew Monday they would incur some cost but kept it advertised online and would not honor the advertised price. The Jeep was still online advertised at 24065 and the customer showed the salesman this. Customer understands that the dealership can change the price of a vehicle, but it is not right to change it on a customer after an offer has been made by the customer based on the current advertised price. The customer drove an hour to come back to see the Jeep and make an offer. The dealership knew how far the customer lived and knew the price point as this was discussed on Monday, the first visit. The customer offered to speak with the manager who did not come and speak with the customer at all. Customer asked the dealership to honor the sales price listed online at the time of the conversation and they would not. SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THE SALESMAN WAS VERY NICE AND APPLOGETIC FOR THE DEALERSHIP NOT HONORING THE PRICE ONLINE.

I had a deal already in the works when I decided to stop by Carter Chevrolet on my way through Shelby - and I am really glad I did - they gave me top dollar for my trade and gave me a great deal on a Chevy Silverado High Country. Jennine was a super classy, friendly, honest sales associate and I would recommend her to anyone - and I recommend the dealership to everyone as well. Thanks Carter Chevrolet.
