So in March I purchased a Saturn Sky from this place. The day after I drove it off the lot my tire was flat the rim had rusted out and was allowing air in. I have to replace the rims and that tire. In April my brakes went out and the rotor how is this possible? Another event in April my insurance cards were sent in the mail as my renewal was scheduled, guess what? I didn't even have insurance on my new car????? the day I made the purchase when I asked about the the vin number and other particulars the salesperson said he had already talked to my insurance and I was good to go..... NOT ! I went back to the dealership and everyone treated me like "what's the big deal?" I tried calling the general manger and the owner not one return call. This car has caused me more money in 10 months than I spent on my 2000 Toyota Celica which I drove for over 10 years. thank God I still have it or I would be taking the bus. I am soooo disappointed in the way they have treated me and the fact that I now have a basically useless car. It looks good but it has one problem after the next. I have to have over $600 dollars worth of work done next weekend and that brings the grand total to $2500 in 10 months of repairing a lemon. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. People ask me about this car everyday because it's a beautiful car and I am more than happy to share the whole pathetic story with them . Trust me I talk to a lot of people and I hope people know that you can and should have any car you are thinking about buying inspected by an independent party. MY BAD
I purchased a $23K used truck from Parks Mazda on September 12, 2014, and less than three weeks later, have a non-working truck. Worse, Parks has been rude and unwilling to assist me in any way. When purchasing the truck, the salesman advised that the truck was from someone he knew personally, that the individual had taken care of the truck, that it had been serviced and had passed a safety inspection at Parks Mazda, and bragged about how Parks takes care of their customers and had helped someone who had to return a vehicle with a blown engine a month after she purchased it. After purchasing the truck, I found that one of the batteries was dead, that the rear window and rear backup sensors (which were advertised in Parks’ online ad for the truck) were not working, and the key FOB promised by the salesman was never mailed. Much worse, the truck had two blown head gaskets needing repair totaling $5,000 (hopefully this is all...waiting to hear about whether there is more). General Manager Jim Hodges never said he was sorry, instead said it was “just too bad”. He said that the dealership would not take back the vehicle or help with the cost of repairs. He also advised that if I engaged in lawful activity including to warn the public of the issue, he would call the police. He also advised “Buyer beware”. I picketed in front of the dealership and he called the police on me and kept setting off the panic button on his vehicles, but the police told me I was not doing anything wrong and the honking didn't scare me off. I wish I had checked the ratings for this dealership before purchasing this vehicle – there are numerous bad reviews on cars.com and there are issues reported to the better business bureau.
Terrible dealership... purchased a vehicle from this lot the first day I received the car 3 light were out.. a week later my battery died. I was only reimbursed for the battery, labor was not taken into account. When problems started to occur (Cory) management became very rude. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS LOT. Still have not received my tag and its been past 30 day horrible horrible people and service.. I regret purchasing my car from this place.
My experience at Parks Mazda was very positive. Made an appointment - had several reminders of appointment via email and phone - which was very professional of them. The sales person (Sal Matthews) was prompt for my appointment and very knowledgeable of the product and the services. Overall a great experience.
The salesman was very rude. We were negotiating and the salesman told us to go home, so we did and bought a car from another dealership, which gave us superlative customer service.
