What Others Say

On 11/1/2024 my 2024 F-150 XLT 3.5L EcoBoost was towed to Ford of Claremont due to it breaking down and Ford of Claremont being the closest dealership within 50 miles. They assessed my truck and found that there was a Technical Service Bulletin for the turbo/intake on the 3.5L EcoBoost. Ethan in the Service Department at Ford of Claremont refused to provide me with a loaner vehicle stating that they did not have inventory. I explained that my truck broke down 3.5 hours from my house and I need a vehicle to get home, conduct my daily functions, including going to and from work, as well as caring for my 2.5 year old child. Ethan in the Service department refused to provide me with a loaner vehicle. I explained that I'm aware that any vehicle on their lot can be put into loaner status and he stated that wasn't true. I also explained that Ford has the ability to provide a rental car through Enterprise car rental if they do not have inventory and he stated he'd never heard that before. This repair was covered under warranty, and I was entitled to a loaner, Ford of Claremont refused to provide one for me. My Ford Customer Advocate called Ford of Claremont on 11/4 and directed them to provide me with a loaner, they refused. I picked up my vehicle on 11/15/2024 and attempted to drive it home on 11/16. I made it 35 miles and it broke down again, with the same issues that I had on 11/1. When I called Ford of Claremont on 11/16, the service department was closed and I spoke to someone in sales. He suggested that I drive the vehicle (that was broken down) to Grappone Ford in Concord, and that was the only help he would offer. Ford of Claremont did not take care of me as a Ford customer, they created substantial hardship and stress for refusing to provide me with a loaner or rental while they worked on my vehicle. I had to pay $300.00 to a friend to drive me back to Maine on 11/3, pick me up on 11/15 to get my vehicle in NH and then pick me up in NH again and bring me to Maine when it broke down on 11/16.

We bought a used truck from the dealer and within a week the check engine light came on. We took it back to the dealership and the gas tank was falling off due to severe rust. Turns out, it was much worse. The rust was so bad under the truck that it was literally crumbling. We wanted them to take back the vehicle because it wouldn't pass inspection and was dangerous to drive. All they would do was give us back a fraction of what we paid for it and trade in the vehicle. We had no other choice so we traded it in for a car we didn't want that was new so we wouldn't have any issues. Overall terrible experience.

I purchased a used pickup at Claremont Ford and I did everything wrong. The result was that I signed an "as is" sales agreement - really dumb to do of course. The engine light was blinking by the time I got home and I was told by their service department it would need thousands of dollars of work before it would be OK to drive and pass inspection. So on the one side, I own this -- I signed the agreement -- but on the other I was taken by the sense that they were good people and would want to do the fair thing. What I asked them to do was discount the repairs or take the vehicle back for an alternative, but all they did was try to leverage the situation into selling me a new vehicle. As the situation unfolded, they bullied me and lied to me. So again, it all goes back to me being stupid, but after I acknowledged that they could have done a lot more to help me solve the problem. Instead I bought a vehicle that was literally not drivable or inspect-able, and once I was off the lot t was my problem and they had not interest in trying to make things right.

Go to Claremont Ford Lincoln first!!! See Jay! He was extremely helpful and did not push a vehicle on me to buy. We test drove a few and I purchased a 2010 Mercury Mariner and am very pleased with the deal and Jason the finance guy saved me money by working out a great deal for me!!!! Not five stars but six!!! Do not waste your time going to Manchester like Autofair Ford, who pounce on you like sharks. They advertise a vehicle that doesn't exist and you drive over an hour to go there and find out it's not available.....stay away from these guys and stick with this dealer. Awesome service and an awesome deal! Thank you Claremont Ford Lincoln and thank you Jay for all your help!!!

Everyone at Claremont ford was very helpful and worked with me on buying my first car. It was a great experience. Thank you Donna tilton.

I would recommend Claremont Ford as the place to look for a vehicle. They are very friendly and helpful. I had the pleasure with working with a sales person named Donna Tilton. She was super friendly and inviting to me. She listened to what my wants and needs were in a new car and found the PERFECT car for me. She met all my needs in regards to price, miles, and what I was looking for overall in a car. To be honest the entire staff was great. Donna was just as excited as I was when the final papers were signed. I will be back in the future when it is time for a new car, and I only hope that Donna will still be there to work with again. Thank you Carine Abbott
