Honda of Owings Mills always has appointments available to accommodate my busy schedule and I love the text messages and updates via text. Definitely helpful. My service advisor Tyrus was very friendly and helpful all throughout the whole process.
Darren great the manager, Cynthia was rude, shuttle driver terrible. Don’t want to encounter them again
Everyone are very nice and helpful. They help you out in every way they can.
Needed the mandatory recall for air bags. Made an appointment for 10 am on 27-Apr-2026 at Honda Owings Mills (Maryland USA). The service agent said it will be 2.5 hours. After 2.5 hours, that said another 1.5 hours. Why bother making an appointment if it still needs 4 hours to update a software fix? Horrible service. Seems everyone is waiting for 3-4 hours minimum. Looks like a trend and not an exception. Eventually they were not able to complete the fix as well. So 4 hours wasted in the dealership without any result.
Excellent work and very fast sevice at owings mills honda. Great job keep it up
My CR-V was towed to the service dept. Monday afternoon, unaccompanied by me. I got a note that the car was delivered by AAA, but I received no notification from Honda of Owings Mills (HOM) that is had arrived. I called Tuesday morning to find out what if it was in and scheduled. The receptionist said she'd scheduled it in an opening at 9:15, about which I was pleased. That was it for then. Service rep called me from a number that had an entirely different area code than HOM, which made me a bit wary and I said so. He told me that they needed $200+ to do a diagnosis of the problems. One hour, he said. By close to the end of the day he hadn't called back (adding to my anxiety), so I called him (at 5:35 and no answer (they're open till 6). Couldn't get through to him so I texted him at the Honda service number. He gave me the electronic form with the list of repairs needed and the cost and needed my signature for authorization. OK, done. He told me it was too late that day (still Tuesday) but it would be done Wednesday (no major parts needed, just battery and filters and fluid change). Wednesday came and went and I'd heard nothing, despite my numerous calls with receptionist. By Thursday, I was beginning to think my car had been stolen and they were covering the crime. That was NOT the case, but by the time I called again Thursday at 9:30, i couldn't even be connected to the service department by their voicemail system. I finally got another (and this time, sympathetic) receptionist and she said she'd walk right over to the service department and alert them to my situation and get them to give me some satisfaction. I finally got a text (almost noon) from another service rep (turns out, my service rep was off for two days but apparently didn't sync my problem with any other service rep) telling me the car repairs were complete. I wewnt to pick up the car close to closing and I got a rather snappy response when I refused a chair she offered. ("Suit yourself, honey.") All in all, even this had a somewhat happy ending - after all, I did get my car back and it was repaired - this was a very dissatisfying experience with Honda of Owings Mills. And in all fairness to them, I'd been pleased with their service to this point. Nevertheless, I will seek elsewhere for another service department going forward. I don't need the drama.
