They advertised in Autotrader and Edmunds, not in Cars.com. I've been looking for a 2021 JGC for over 2 years, and the model they had wasn't quite the trim level nor color I was looking for. Nevertheless, the price point was pretty good, - didn't negotiate. Had asked if they could do a Zoom/Video call for me to look through the vehicle in detail - but that didn't happen as they were not setup to do that. Had to rely on their website video - which was OK. I had planned to drive it home cross country - 2500 miles, so flew in to Detroit. They arranged a Lyft ride (which was nice of them). Looked at the vehicle, drove it round the block - shot my own video. Then sat and waited for the finance stuff. Took about 45 min before the paperwork was ready, ....a couple of items needed correction though. Transaction was pretty fast - though they didn't go through the details - (caused additional paperwork after the deal). I was thinking about paying with cash and credit card, and very little financing, if at all. However, during the process, the docs were all setup for cash and financing, and I didn't want to further delay the process (had to start the drive before dark), so just went with it - after all, one needs to have liabilities in order to maintain one's credit score, right ? Completed transaction, loaded my bags and set off for the drive back home. Received a call from the sales person a couple of days later checking on me, great ! Was still in the middle of my trip though. Also discovered a broken side view rear mirror - not sure if it was already there when I looked it over at the dealership.....oh well. Overall, pretty good transaction - could be better.

I recently switched to Laethem from another dealer and am so glad I did!! Great customer service!! Friendly and helpful staff!! Went in for an oil change, walked out with a new car!!

As always, good service, good people, and quick to take care of me when I pull in.

Good overall but seems to be short staffed which may be contributing to delays in getting appointments or being serviced.
