I just picked up my 2026 Toyota Tacoma from Capistrano Valley Toyota, and I want to say something about what that experience was actually like, because it wasn't what most people expect from a dealership. There's no pressure here. None. Honestly, you don't even feel like you're in a car dealership. My salesperson, Austin Norton, was the reason this worked for me. It took me a few months to be ready, and not once did he push, rush, or try to move me into something before it was right. He stayed helpful the entire time, with zero agenda. That kind of patience is rare, and it's the reason I came back. Then there's Jesse Jia in finance. Signing is usually the most arduous part of buying a car, the part everyone dreads. Jesse made it the opposite. He was honest, clear, and genuinely helpful the whole way through. I never felt handled. I felt respected. What stood out most is that this wasn't just two great people. Every single person I encountered there was warm, service-oriented, and transparent. You can feel that it's the culture of the place itself, not a policy someone memorized. I plan on recommending them to anyone looking for a vehicle. And I'm grateful to say that I actually felt great driving away, in a way I never have before. Tristan Steward went above and beyond in an effort to find us a model that would work for my handicapped husband. He drove threes different vehicles to our home for us to try - (about six miles each way, each time). And met us at the dealership the next day to try yet another. We are still looking, unfortunately, but it's sure not Tristan's fault! Nor Toyota's nor Capo Valley Toyota's) And it was service with a big smile! We love the Toyota brand (I'm on my third Prius), and Capo Valley Toyota is our dealership of choice! Be sure to ask for Tristan! (I marked the Siena because I couldn't send in the review without picking a model - it was one of the cars we were trying)
