I returned to Lexus of Sarasota and Jeff Serensky after not being able to purchase from him in the spring. While I was able to get what I thought was a fair pricing (based on an offer to purchase at a different Lexus dealership), I was surprised by the additional coverage packages that I was presented with that greatly altered my bottom line to get my car. While I reviewed all the options meticulously when I got home and read each piece, it was disconcerting at first to have one number in my head and a much larger one as my total owed. I had three LoS employees answer all my questions two days later and review each item I questioned. I chose to keep all but one of those options on further evaluation, but after over 4 hours in the showroom, I had obligations to leave that pushed me to sign without being totally comfortable with what I was signing for.
