What Others Say

Being a female it is very hard to find a mechanic I could trust. I have been going to this shop since 2003 when I needed new brake pads for my BMW, I went to three different places that quoted $3,000-3,500. A friend told me to check with H at Northern Virginia Imports, who replaced all four brake pad for a fraction of the original quotes. I've never taken any of my cars to anyone else but Northern Virginia Imports since. I feel blessed to have found such great mechanic and honest mechanic. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and fairly.

I bought a 2003 Pathfinder from H a couple of months ago; I've been holding off on rating them (based upon their own request) to see if the little things worked themselves out, but they haven't and here I am. H was very friendly and helpful when I first bought the car, and as it was my first purchase he helped me through the process. The car, however, has been a nightmare. The day after I bought it, the Service Engine Soon light turned on (I had test driven the car twice on separate occasions, no such light). I brought the car back and left it with the dealership and their service center for several days, and was given a bunch of indistinct and unclear answers and got my car back with the repair not made. After getting an oil change, I was told the car had no oil in it at the time and needed all new belts (the old ones were cracking). H had no response, and while he replaced the belts for free (under warranty) the check engine light remained on. I brought the car back in for a third time (I had to, H didn't provide an emissions inspection and it wouldn't pass with the light on) and he charged me for a new o2 sensor and some other things, a couple hundred dollars, and got the emissions done. Next day, the light came back on. All in all, friendly service but TERRIBLE vehicles and not helpful or convenient once the car is purchased. Honest advice, avoid NOVA Imports.

I found my car online at NOVA Imports. I was working with a small insurance settlement from my last (sadly) stolen car. I am very happy with my used Subaru. The price was great (I did extensive searching into neighboring states). The car is in great shape for it's age and came with more extras and upgrades in the model than I would have expected for the price. The service was friendly and NOVA Imports seems committed to servicing any future needs with the car. It was hard finding a quality vehicle at the "budget" price point I was looking in, so I'm glad I came across this dealer. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mr.H at Northern Virginia Imports did an exceptional job. I called around and did some comparison shopping and noone could beat his price. As a matter of fact, i thought i had to replace the entire clutch assembly on my '97 Acura Integra. Mr.H checked out the vehicle and found that the clutch was in good condition and only required replacing the master cylinder. Mr.H. called me back promptly and was able to have me up and running in the time he promised. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for the best job done right at the right price!

I was in a situation where it was only a matter of time before my 2002 Nissan Sentra was going to give out on me. In my position traveling is a necesity as I setup merchant accounts for Visa and Mastercard. I came across Northern Va imports on the web and they seemed to have some imports in my price range. I went up with my family and the salesman "H" told me to feel free to drive anything I wanted and also gave me some information on the cars I was interested in. I asked about a Honda Civic and was very surprised to find out that it only had 66k miles on the motor and was in like new condition. It was very smooth and quite when I drove it. After test driving it and inspecting it I was convinced that the car was what I needed in my line of work (I setup merchant accounts and have to travel every day). H told me that he would work out a price for me on my 2002 Nissan Sentra for trade in and he did as well as offering me a very fair price on the 2001 Honda Civic. I was very pleased with the car that I got as it was well maintained, low mileage, very reliable, etc. I would recommend anyone that is looking for a good price on a reliable car to come her. Sincerely, Hudson Nuckols

Hello. I bought a Toyota Sienna from Northern VA Imports. It was a very pleasant experience. I had been looking for a Sienna in the Pittsburgh area for months. Then I found this one at NVA. I drove from Pittsburgh to get the car with the attitude of 'this guy is lying to me'. Only to find out the car was great, price was great, only a broken seat belt buckle which we worked out. He let me test drive it and to have it inspected, no problem. I drove there and home with a new car all in one day. H I want to thank you!!! PS The wife and kids love the new car
