What Others Say

Horrible. Selling my car so I dont have to go back. Really tragic that this is what it has come to, but just cannot continue to deal with them, and they are the only dealer in the area.

I wanted to give this dealership ZERO star for my failed buying experience but apparently that is not an option. Here is story: I wanted to buy a 2012 XC60. I talked to Dan Baer over the phone and I gave him the price I wanted to pay . After a couple rounds of phone calls, we agreed on a price. As I live one and a half hour away from Sacramento, I checked with him repeatedly if I came right now, I would pay the price we agreed on, and I wouldn't spend a min to negotiate price again. He said YES YES, ABSOLUTELY. So I drove 2 hours in heavy rain and got there. After test drive, he brought me a piece of paper with the price. It is $2000 more than the price he AGREED over and phone. I was so mad and of course didn't buy it. I know dealership is a business, and dealers need to make money like everyone else. But it was outrageous that how this salesperson treat a customer like an idiot. I wasted a whole day and drove 4 hours in the rain. He is nothing but a shameful liar. DON'T BUY FROM THIS DEALER IF POSSIBLE. If you do, make sure put everything on paper, don't believe what they say.

Just bought a new C30 from Turner Volvo. Dave MacAdams was great. Knows the cars inside and out. No high pressure at all. Good price without the typical games with sales managers. It's a small dealership and it shows in a really good way. I never felt like I was just another number. Looking forward to enjoying the car and having it serviced at Turner.

It was the 3rd time I bought my XC70 to Turner Volvo for services and I was happy as usual to have Chuck as my service advisor. Very pleasant and professional, Chuck made my day a lot easier with arranging the transportation for me to my workplace and back to the dealer to pick up my car. While the cost is always a major factor for me to look for some other service stations, I still prefer to go to Turner whenever I can afford the fee due to the workmanship and customer service I've been experienced with Chuck. T. Tran in Elk Grove.

I pulled into Turner Volvo at 6:30pm. After a rude and sarcastic greeting, a comment of “Well, we were all ready to leave and go home, then you pulled up” and a sob story as to why he was acting rude and on edge, salesman Dave MacAdams finally proceeded to show us his used inventory of cars. For the short time that we were looking at vehicles, two finance gentlemen who were inside the office came outside and stood watching us. You could tell by the looks on their faces that they could care less about a possible sale and just wanted to go home. I took the car that I was interested in on a short test drive, and then proceeded into the sales office. Once inside the two gentlemen who were outside were now inside the office. There was not one friendly thing about them- they did not smile, did not get up from their chairs to greet me… I was the one who had to say hello to first. Dave, or “Big Mac” did warm up to me after a while and seemed as though he finally got over being angry at the fact that “he had to drive all the way to Reno and back today” and that I showed up when they were all about to shut down and leave, but the two other gentlemen never showed any respect, what so ever. I cannot express how disappointed I am about how horrible the customer service was from the employees when I showed up looking to purchase a vehicle. I understand that I came to the dealership at a half hour until closing, but do not openly treat me like I am an inconvenience; all in all, they were there for a total of 15 minutes after 7pm when everything was done. You are there to provide a service and to treat everyone with respect. AND, the last thing I want to hear coming out of a salesperson’s mouth is how horrible his/her day has been. I could care less. I wish I had the two other finance employee’s names, but I do not at this time. **I do not want to "bad name" this dealership, I just want to express how unhappy I was with the way I was treated.

I've owned several Volvo's over the years and have always had a pleasant experience at Turner Volvo. Marty has always accommodated my wife and I when we were in a jam and needed help with our vehicles. The facility is very clean and staff is always friendly!
