purchased a Jeep from Norristown In August 2023 and wanted to return it. I signed the deal on 5:00 on a Saturday and called at 9:00 on that Monday. They gave me the run around for 4 days then I spoke to the owner that said I spoke to the salesman so many times since Nov2022 and he would allow me to return the jeep but I would not get back my trade or the value and would lose my $10, 000 deposit. Seems illegal but the owner justified it because of the amount of contacts I had with his salesman. I lost over $20,000 but I wanted nothing more to do with this dealership after their treatment and phone tag I had with them and leading me on. I was told had I made a scene in person, I would have received my trade back and my deposit. I’m just not that kind of person but now I wish I had. I’m a disabled veteran who could not afford to lose that much money. I know it’s my own fault but be warned that you need to be certain of your car choice because there is no 3 day return policy unless you make a scene in person.
Small dealership with limited supply Clean dealership All staff were professional Friendly & helpful Very competitive fair pricing
I did not go to this center for service I went for sales and this has to be the worse experience I ever had buying a car. Not only did the sales men ask me to ask my boyfriend for money to put a 2500 deposit on the car. I came with my own bank certified check draft and deposit. The dealership tried to rope me into a their loan at a crazy high interest rate . The salesman misplaced the key to the car after I returned it for the test drive, The dealership a call me the next day and ask me where was their car?. A police detective called me to see if I had stolen their car. They even accused my bf of being involved when he stopped by to see how I was doing, They had the person a man stealing the car on camera all along . Personally I felt it all was a bit shady. BTW I am 65 years old and disabled. I never had a problem with the law and am black and a retired teacher. I was mortified. I can not sent anyone including friends and family to this dealership after this experience. For the record ,no I did not take their car or know who did. I felt racially profiled , sexually profiled and ageism profiled and generally disrespected.. The detective felt bad to even have to question me. I demanded a written apology after the police detective called. Mr Choate ,, the owner said He felt he didn't need to give me one. Do not get your car from here go somewhere where you and your money, your culture and ethnicity will be respected
This is a great place to buy a car. Great prices and they have the best service of all the places I have ever been to!
My family has purchased two Jeeps from Norristown Jeep over the past nine months and though I am a school administrator in Upstate New York, I leased my Jeep Compass Limited from Norristown Jeep. It was certainly worth the five hour ride to take delivery of my new SUV. During my purchasing process, I visited my local dealers but did not receive the knowledge, professionalism, respect and honesty I received at Norristown Jeep. My delivery process was seamless. I love my Norristown Jeep Compass!
In December 2018, I came in for an appointment to check on a tapping noise in the valve of the engine. A technician confirmed a kimshafts and lifters were the problem. Service agent said they would order parts on back order and I would receive a call in January. I called the second week of January and was told there were no records of my appointment or any order. They then set up another appointment for me to come in and see another technician. Another technician confirmed that the kimshafts and lifters were the problem and that this issue was covered under warranty. Days later, a service sales agent named Mark said an inspector from Chrysler would have to confirm or approve this repair. If approved, the dealer would cover the repairs. If not, I would be responsible for $600 plus for breakdown and any costs for the rental car. The inspector came after the breakdown and I was informed that the repair was not under warranty due to it being registered as a commercial vehicle. This was determined not by the breakdown or parts in the vehicle, but by the Lyft logo sticker that appeared in my front windshield window. After several correspondences with the dealership and manufacturer, I was told that the dealer is not responsible for warranty coverage and the inspector's decision is final and binding. I spoke to a customer care representative that told me the vehicle warranty stated that warranty would be revoked if the vehicle was used primarily for commercial purposes. I refute this contention because my vehicle has not been used primarily for commercial uses. The breakdown bill is $660, the rental is $304, and an extra $1,300.
