My wife and I were in the market for a Kia Soul for our daughter who is graduating college. We found one that was in our budget in Hempstead, NY. We traveled 9 1/2 hours for this amazing deal, however when we arrived we were very unimpressed with how dirty the car was and how the previous owner was a smoker which was not disclosed by the dealership. Being we traveled all the way to New York for a car and had pulled an empty U-haul auto transport we felt we still had time to find a deal. We searched and searched the internet for used cars locally and called several dealerships which stated they were just sold. Being the day was slowly coming to an end it became stressful for both of us not locating a car for our daughter. Then finally we came across a Kia Soul that met all of our features, miles and budget. We quickly contacted the dealership and spoke to Mark about our ordeal and he said to swing on by. Being we were still in NY and had about 1 1/2 hour drive to Danville, NJ with traffic we slowly made our way south. Not from the area we quickly became lost in NY city traffic. It was now after-hours on a Saturday night and I kept calling Mark to brief him on where we were at. Finally at almost 10:30 pm we finally made it to Danville at the dealership. We were both greeted by Mike and Mark and were able to look the car over. I was even granted access to pull the car into the shop to use the overhead light to conduct a detailed inspection top to bottom being it was dark outside. They were both amazing and understanding. I can't say enough of both of them for allowing us to show up so late in the evening to make the deal. Mike had even found a hotel for my wife and I a few miles away from the dealership being we had been up for almost 24 hrs. The car is more than what we expected and the dealership took the time to detail it which made an amazing first impression once we test drove it. You guys are hands down the best buying experience I have personally dealt with in buying a car new or used. If we weren't so far away I would continue doing business with them for years to come. Thanks Mike and Mark for an awesome buying experience. Keep up the good work guys!!!!
It is very clear to me, just as a customer, that the management, especially the service management, at Reinertsen is very technically proficient. They really understand the cars they work on and do not just "replace parts." You feel like they are your own "pit crew" and they want to be sure that you are both safe on the road and that your car is working perfectly. It is always very clean and organized and I like how the service bays are in full view of customers. They give me absolute confidence that my car is getting the best care possible. Additionally, they make customers feel well-cared for as well. But other dealers are good at that, while in the meantime your car is out of sight and sometimes the repairs are done badly if at all. This has never been the case at Reinertsen.
I have to 2 Saabs (one bought used from them and one bought new somewhere else but serviced there) Service - John the head service manager is great, one of the more tuner-friendly service manager i dealt with. All services are done properly and accurately so far, and i have really no complaint other than the fact that "you will be out of there in 20 minutes" always turns into 45 minutes, even for an oil change. I guess if they are doing the work right, i don't mind waiting a bit longer.
