What Others Say

Made arrangements with Kamden to test drive a car on a Saturday. Received a text on Saturday morning from him apologizing and letting me know that car couldn’t be driven today because the service department had fixed a dent in the door (which he hadn’t mentioned previously) and the door was being repainted. Made arrangements to test drive on a Tuesday. Had to take a day off work and make the 3.5 hour trip to the dealership. Test drove the car, talked to him about the car (he mentioned a white one that was newer with less miles and asked if I wanted to see that while we were looking at the gray one I had just test driven), left for 30 minutes to think about it, and returned to buy it. Sat down with Kamden while he entered my info into a credit application to see what kind of rate I could get. He kept glancing at the door and was very nervous, acting much differently from 30 minutes ago. In full view of us while he was entering my info, another man put a license plate on the car, smirked at me, and walked away. Kamden said he wasn’t able to find the car to click on it but dismissed this and completed filling out the application. He stepped away and returned to say the car was just bought 20 seconds ago by someone in their HR dept. He then said he could offer me the white one at the same price. Between the other man putting on the license plate and then smiling across the room directly at me as he did so, Kamden’s complete change in demeanor when I said I wanted to buy the car, and him bringing up the white one multiple times, I believe they knew the car was being bought by someone else but let me drive nearly 8 hours round trip to try to get me to buy the white one.

Car was purchased on July 3rd. It was left with the dealership for 8 days for them to replace the bumper. Received a call on the 11th asking me to pick up the car. Car was not detailed, had trash in the back seats and food and dog hair on everything. I requested a detail, waited 2+ hours for the detail and the car still had trash under the seats, food in all of the cup holders, and dirt/trash in the front seat pockets. We take the car home and within 48 hours the check engine light came on and we find out the back seat windows don’t work. The moment we found this out I attempted to reach out to the dealership and was passed around on the phone over the next four days and no one took ownership or acknowledged the errors. It has taken 4 days to receive a productive call back from the dealer. Their solution to the problem is that I spend even more time and money bringing the car back to them.

As a used car licensed dealer. I was sold a truck with a bad transmission that ridgeway said was misdiagnosed.. neither the extended warranty or hinderer claim fault. Got a message to reach for solution but no calls!

Amicah perkins was my dealer today. she was so sweet, quick, and got me the best deal! hooked me up with some great perks too! 10/10 recommend her!

had a very frustrating experience with John Hinderer Honda when returning my leased vehicle. On March 3rd, I brought my lease in for return and specifically confirmed with the sales representative that I would receive equity from the vehicle and that there would be no restocking fee. We agreed on an amount, completed paperwork, and they took possession of my car that day. Weeks went by and I never received the check. When I called, multiple employees had no record of my vehicle or the money owed to me. Thankfully, I kept my paperwork. I eventually had to go into the dealership myself, where I again was met with confusion before finally being issued a check. The issues didn’t stop there. A month later, Honda Finance billed me for a payment due March 15th—even though I returned the car on March 3rd. I later learned the dealership didn’t report the vehicle as returned until March 30th. Because of their delay, I’m now dealing with billing issues that shouldn’t exist. On top of that, I was later charged a restocking fee that I was explicitly told I would not owe. During a recorded 3-way call with Honda Finance, a dealership representative stated he would take care of the issue and asked where to send the payment. After the call ended, he contacted me directly and said he would not be paying it. I am now working with the BBB, the Ohio Attorney General, and Honda Corporate to resolve this situation. This dealership is extremely disorganized, lacks communication, and does not stand behind what they tell customers. I would not recommend doing business here

The 2 stars is sales only. My fiance & i were looking to buy a ridgeline. Last week, we went to TRY to test drive 2 ridgelines we saw. The sales lady we spoke to acted like we were wasting. We made very clear that we there to test drive. She told us we could SIT in a ridgeline. We felt like she wasn't going allow us to test drive. We quickly got up & walked out. This week we went to columbus honda dealership in & bought our 2023 ridgeline from there. She missed out on sale!
