What Others Say

I recently purchased a certified preowned vehicle from Cochran of South Hills. Bill M and MaryAnn were amazing and made the entire experience a very positive one. I would highly recommend them to anyone shopping for a vehicle.

I purchased a 2020 Nissan Altima from Brandon and will absolutely buy my next vehicle from him as well! Thank you again Brandon for such an amazing experience!!!

Firstly, I'm a wounded vet and I came to Cochran looking for a replacement to my car that broke down - I needed reliable transportation to get to work so I can provide for my family. I found a suitable vehicle online at #1 Cochran South Hills (3200 W Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216) and bought a 2017 CPO Nissan Altima from Brandon Murphy on Saturday, May 16. The car needed to have an evaporation test checked because it showed as a failure on my scanner and he assured me that it would be rectified first thing Monday morning and he would clarify the terms of the Nissan financing. I asked if I needed to provide a deposit on the vehicle and was told "No, it's marked as sold in our system". On Monday (May 18th) evening, he finally sent me photos of a mechanic holding a scanner saying that the evaporation test passed and 2 different terms (one with 1.99% interest and one with $450 Nissan cash) with numbers that were different from anything we had discussed and were not what we had agreed to. (To clarify, we agreed to a price in writing and then I decided to do the Nissan cash offer with that price, which he did not write up) When I pointed this out and that he hadn't provided the interest rates for different down-payments, he did not respond. When I repeated my statement and questions the following morning I was told "Oh, I sold that car yesterday". Despite emails where he confirmed explicitly that he agreed to that sale price, he said that he had no idea where I got those numbers and he couldn't hold a car. He demonstrated dispicable business practice, poor ethics, and a lack of moral compass because that clearly looks like he had someone offer a higher price even though the car was already sold and he decided to take that instead of honoring his agreements. Cochran allowing this kind of shady practice in their company puts the entire organization into the position that they should not be trusted. I thought that the fudging of numbers (changing the fees that are supposedly the same for every customer) was just a mistake while typing, after all, it would be really stupid to repeatedly try to raise those fees after writing them out explicitly and saying that they don't change, but it seems that it was more disgusting attempts to weasel as much money out of the customer as possible and hope that they don't catch it. Buy YOU CARS SOMEWHERE ELSE. This business is not NOT TRUSTWORTHY and they will try to add nonsense fees without telling customers. They will not honor any agreement as soon as you catch them trying to swindle you. Dealers like this are why people don't trust car salesmen and I would not want to do business with a dealer of this low character.

I was in the market for an electric car but needed some guidance as I have never owned one before. Jesse Rourke was very knowledgeable and accommodating in helping us learn more about the Nissan leaf we ended up buying. I would recommend anyone who is in the market for a Nissan in the area to Jesse.

When you are on a budget, car buying is something that you want not to be pressure into just anything. At #1 Cochran Nissan South Hills, our sales associate Marco was everything you could ask for very kind, helpful and patient...the staff also was courteous and dealership top of the line. So with that being said, I would recommend them period....Thanks again Marco for everything, Mike and Diane.
