After making a deal on a Jetta Lease, I was unhappy with the color choice that I had unwittingly entered into. I decided the day after to change my choice. Mark, the manager, said he could find one but would have to see if it was available. By close of business, 630pm, he told me it was not. I told him at 12pm of my concern. I contacted him in the morning to advise him that I had arranged with another Long Island dealer to get the color I wanted. He told me in the morning that I would have to wait to talk with the salesman to discuss getting my deposit back. I stopped by approximately 20 min before the salesman was supposed to come in, since I was on the road. Mark was extremely unpleasant with me. He kept on about loyalty, and started all sorts of insulting insinuations. He escalated the whole thing, and kept calling me into his office. It didn't take me too long to have enough abuse, and I started yelling back. At that point, he seemed as if he wanted to get into a physical altercation. All of his coworkers were trying to get him to stay in control. I told him to get himself under control. It seemed as if he would do anything, say anything, to keep the deal in his house. He is a complete ***hole, and everyone now knows it. Over a $100 deposit on a 36 month lease, sheesh!
