I PURCHASED MY GENESIS GV80 ON 9/26/2024 WITH 1 KEY FOB AND WAS TOLD THAT THE SECOND ONE WAS AROUND THE BUILDING SOMEPLACE. NIGEL WHO PROMISED ME THAT I WOULD GET THE SECOND KEY FOB. TODAY IS 12/16/24 I AM STILL WAITING. AFTER SPENDING CLOSE TO 60K I EXSPECT A PROMISE MADE TO BE KEPT. IF YOU SHOP AT THIS PLACE MAKE SURE ALL IS ON CONTRACT.
There’s only one dealership servicing all of Nevada and that's Genesis of Las Vegas. Unfortunately, this means Genesis owners and new vehicle buyers in Nevada are at the mercy of this dealership's lack of professionalism. Genesis buyers must go through Hyundai of Las Vegas because the Genesis of L.V. dealership still isn’t fully operational. You're seated at a dinette set in the Hyundai showroom to discuss your transaction with your salesperson. This is a very awkward place to conduct business for a so-called "luxury" brand. If you end up purchasing a Genesis and a part goes bad or needs replacement, be prepared to suffer through a wait of 1+ months for that part to get into the dealership because it must be shipped from Korea. Because Genesis is new, there are almost no spare parts in the USA. This is something the Genesis/Hyundai of L.V. salesperson won't reveal to you. Depending on your situation, if your vehicle isn’t drivable, the burden of renting a car for several months falls on you. The dealership’s service and parts department staff are unhelpful and lack brand knowledge. Buyer beware.
