Things have not improved here. Trying to schedule a recall service and after two calls and one chat I only get sales solicitations and so far no service appointment. I wish I had any other Genesis service in the vicinity. Due to the bad communication I am doing the routine service elsewhere, but for a recall my options are limited. Not buying a new Genesis as long as I live close to this service location!

I was very disappointed in the lack of concern the service department showed. This was not the luxury service experience at all! They just wanted to argue with me. Needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere!

I was not only disappointed but shocked by the unprofessional attitude, incompetence, and blatant disrespect for clients exhibited by the Genesis of North Plainfield, NJ Service Department. It took them 5.5 hours to complete routine maintenance, including an oil change and tire pressure check. They offered me a Lyft ride home but never picked me up from my house. Additionally, they returned the car unwashed. The Service advisor Jason wasn’t helpful as well as the manager Jonas. Jacob D.

Had a fantastic service experience. Working with Justin and Johan to get my GV70 in for work was super quick and easy. They both treated me as if I was a VIP customer and were attentive while going above and beyond to satisfy my electric vehicle curiosity with a loaner. After reading previous reviews, my guess is a lot has changed (for the best)!

My experience with the dealership service department has gotten gradually better. The earlier problems I had were related to employee turnover and bad handling of calls to people no longer there. They seem to make great effort to keep the customers happy. For a luxury brand I would like to see a little more upgraded waiting areas

I had spotty experience with the service department before, but now I can not even get a call through to make an appointment. I have been calling for several days and leavin messages with my number with no reponse. I would give up if the other dealerships within a reasonable distance would be any better.
