I recently purchased a Genesis G70 from Genesis of Baton Rouge and my experience was very positive. Service, selection and value were all excellent. In particular, Elham Alshaer, who assisted me with the transaction, could not have been more professional, helpful and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this dealership.
GM Richie Gauthier and Sales Manager Chris Solomon completely ignored multiple emails and voicemails from me, though I had just purchased a new car from them. Of several issues I had with the delivery, one was that they delivered me a vehicle with less than 1/8th of a tank of gas in it, despite the window sticker even saying that it comes full (as is a reasonable expectation for a new car!). Terrible customer service from a brand that wants to be categorized as premium.
The worst. The electronics on my car went a little crazy and I had it towed there. It took them a week before they looked at it. It took another four weeks to fix it and I recently learned they fixed it wrong. Sean “Patrick” Bryan, the service writer (supposedly trained by Genesis and the only person I could speak to) NEVER returned a single phone call. Not one. He lied to me about what was going on with my car. Genesis promises a Genesis loaner during warranty repair. The service writer kept promising one but never delivered. Recently I learned that the dealership did not have a mechanic qualified to do work on Genesis cars, so the could sell cars but not service them. This service department, on of the many All Star dealerships, ought to be fired by Genesis.
