We purchased a truck on June 22, 2025 and this and only this has been the most frustrating experience ever. The level of dishonesty, deception, poor communication and B.S is totally unacceptable. Grant it we made the purchase, but I can assure you that we nor our family or friends will ever deal with this dealership. The truck was not cleaned therefore scratches and dents were not visible, we have made numerous trips back to Fredericksburg for assistance, was never explained the service contract which cost us $1,011.46, the day after the purchase the service airbag light came on, a piece of plastic was under the mat on the driver's side only to find out there was a hole in the carpet. The worse of it all was in the beginning when we kept asking for the sale price, we didn't get an amount until after multiple deal options. What salesperson can't give you a vehicle sale price when you first look at the vehicle. We should have drove away at that point. LESSON LEARED!!!!
The group of sales people they brought in were not truthful at all. I asked more then once if the Buick was all wheel drive and was told yes I soon found out that’s not true. In just a few days they’ve had to replace catalyst converter O2 sensor front brakes and since they did that there’s a horrible noise coming from the rear..The Buick rolls backwards when you’re on a hill and it’s idling terrible. I have to have 4wheel drive or all wheel drive to be able to get out my driveway in bad weather. I feel like I was totally taken advantage of I tried to go back and talk with then but there excuse it belongs to the bank. Trust me I just got the information on the bank I will be calling Monday and filing a claim with BBB. I asked the guys at the shop who inspected this Buick they laughed they did So guess they just threw a sticker on it. They need to make this mess right
Deal was amazing small issues with things like onstar not working and things like that
My wife and I bought a 2015 Toyota Prius from this dealer (Koons Automotive) for about 13K. we are very disappointed about their service and their car. The car had an engine light and they said they will fix it they lied, they told us we have one month warranty and after one month they will share with us the repair cost 50/50 that was another lie. I took the car to a mechanic to check it out. He told me that the car has head gasket leak. I feel that this dealer simply stole my money while I am watching (I hope somebody can stop him from stealing from other people) We asked for a car that we can charge from the outlet, but they gave us a car that self-charge with a battery with poor condition. When we called them the manager (“Robert”), I am not sure Robert exist, my guess it is a code name to deal with unhappy customers. The so-called fake Robert told me that what you should expect from a car 160K miles, I knew then that I bought a junk car. These people are rude and unethical and a bunch of thieves. Probably, I will not get my money back, but I wanted to get my experience with this dealer out here so other people can be aware and be careful. My advice is to not deal with them all.
Says was extremely friendly and very helpful. They do all they can to help you get into a car that will be a great fit for you.
This is a nontraditional store. I like the casual setting at Koons Automotive in Fredericksburg,VA. Employees were friendly and helpful. My salesperson, Mario, answered all of my questions!
