I bought a used car from this dealer in August 2019. On the test drive I noticed the check engine light was on otherwise the vehicle seemed OK. I gave them a deposit to hold the vehicle and on the deposit slip they wrote "refundable if check engine light is a problem". They turned off the check engine light and told me the vehicle was fine so I completed the purchase. When I left the dealer lot the check engine light was off; before I got home (less than 10 miles) the check engine light was back on and showing a code for a transmission problem. They refused to return my money and cancel the sale. Five days later the transmission failed completely. I took them to small claims court but they hired an attorney who got the case thrown out on old case law - not the merits of this case. I visited this dealership in search of a vehicle to replace the one I had for over 12 years. I got a great deal on a newer model vehicle and the vehicle was in great condition and I am very happy. The staff at Harris did everything to make the experience a happy and memorable one.

I couldn't have asked for better service, attention, fairness or honesty from John Randall and the rest. For beginning to end, my car buying experience was a pleasure. I felt that John treated we with respect and helped me get the deal that was fair for me while making money for the dealership which is obviously why they are in business. Seriously, the entire process went well and i would absolutely recommend anyone I know to come to Harris Automotive Group.
