This is my second car that I bought from RD Sawyer, the team is knowledgeable, respectful, and meets. My needs in car selection and price!

Called dealership on Tuesday February 23 for sales and Josh Boswell answered. Told him that I had a 2018 Ford Fusion that was near lease end and that I was interested in leasing an Explorer Limited Hybrid 4WD. I was mostly looking for one with only floor mats and cargo management with a white exterior and light sandstone interior. Josh did find one with those options, but also had a moonroof and towing package. It was a bit more than I was looking for, but the payment was within my budget. After all details were ironed out, Josh traded with another dealer for the Explorer. Home delivery was offered, but I preferred to take delivery at the dealership and set delivery for Saturday February 27. When my wife and I arrived at dealership on Saturday, Josh met us at the door and introduced us to the Owner, Rock Sawyer who was also doing finance duties that day. After taking care of paperwork, Josh then took us to the vehicle and explained the features of the Explorer and set up our phones to be connected to the vehicle and added it to my Ford Pass account. Everything went quite smoothly. I’ve since have been driving the Explorer and becoming acquainted with all the features it has. I’m quite pleased the Explorer and how Josh and Rock handled everything. My wife has a Lincoln MKC that the lease is up in June and since we’re downsizing to one vehicle I discussed returning it to Sawyer, to which they agreed. I’m sure we’ll treated with same respect courtesy as when we leased the Explorer.

I couldn't be more pleased to work with the family oriented group at R D Sawyer during the purchase of my new vehicle. Robin is very down to earth, makes you feel as part of their family, goes out and beyond to help and answer questions and overall an amazing person! Looking forward to building my Ford relationship with R D Sawyer!

While on our family vacation last week in the OBX staying in Corolla, that Wed. 9/5 we noticed something wasn't right with our Explorer...air conditioner was blowing warm air and there was a rubber smell and odd noise. We called AAA and had it towed to the Ford dealer RD Sawyer in Manteo about an hour south of where we were staying. We were able to rent a Ford Fusion from them to use and 2 days later we picked up our Explorer with a new compressor and serpentine belt. Our Explorer is running great again. We're so very grateful that we had our car in trusted hands to get it fixed and not be taken advantage of...everyone was absolutely fabulous! Just can't say enough about the excellent service at RD Sawyer...Doc the owner, Robin, Jaurice and especially Kenny the Service Manager, what a relief and blessing to find them....and we didn't even miss a beat with our vacation! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!!
