Nice people at first, but watch your back. Garbage dealership. Manager is disrespectful and arrogant.. Thinks he's pulling the wool over your eyes. Such a shame. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !!
Purchased a 2021 Ram pickup and there were a few noticeable things that needed fixed which they did take care of. But they were not upfront about how bad the bed of the truck was at the time of sale. Instead they left snow in the bed and threw a lining over it so it wouldn't be noticed until after the sale. So to me this is dishonesty of the sale but when I have tried to contact the dealership by email or phone the sales consultant will not answer emails or phones calls and if you talk to someone else they can't speak for it because they weren't involved. So not happy with the lack of communication and not being trustworthy. It's a shame that they couldn't have been upfront about it.
Beware of this dealership! They absolutely will lie to your face and scam you by mis-representing the condition of the vehicles they are selling. I purchased a 2020 Kia Telluride from this dealership on March 18, 2023 at their Ellicott City location. I was presented with a Carfax report for the vehicle indicating that it had never been in an accident at the time of the sale. During the test drive, I noticed that the vehicle displayed a parking senor error warning on the dashboard. When I questioned the manager (John M*****) of the dealership about the error, he claimed that they had investigated the error, and that it was being caused by a single faulty sensor in the rear bumper of the vehicle. He claimed the only reason they hadn't repaired it was because Kia would replace the sensor under warranty for free, but as a dealer they are unable to get work done on the vehicle under the manufacturers warranty. I thought it sound suspicious, but the vehicle had many of the features I wanted in this specific model and I against my better judgement I made the purchase. Once I got the vehicle registered and titled, I immediately took it to my local Kia dealership for this 'warranty' work to be completed. The dealer called me later that day and informed me that the issue was not a faulty sensor, but that the vehicle had been in an accident and all 4 are the rear parking sensors were ruined and glued in place, the radar antenna was entirely missing as were both BDS sensors and the wiring harness to tie all these items into the vehicles computer. Essentially the vehicle had been rear-ended, and was cosmetically patched up but none of the expensive electronic components had been replaced. In addition all 4 tires barely passed inspection and need replaced. All told, its $3,895.52 for the bumper electronics and $1,344 for the tires. When I informed Hi-Lo of the issue, they claimed management would call me back, but they have failed to do so after following up multiple times.
Did my due diligence and still got got bc I was in a rush. I won't blast them both(Sales Rep and GM) by name on here, but they all know and I am def not recommending Hi Lo nor will I be going back. It states in numerous places is does come with a FREE 6k mile warranty, which I knew it did. Got tricked into having to pay $1,695 extra for it because he told me it was extra and they do not come with it. You obviously don't so keep that in mind unless the "FREE 6k/6 month warranty" I have now just read again in numerous places is false advertising. Love the car I bought, but sleezy xxx thing to do so be careful shopping. Don't ask for reviews if there is a chance the customer can uncover you did something bush league

My wife and I contacted HiLo's dealership in Frederick about a truck listed in its inventory. We were contacted by a sales person who invited us to set up an appointment to test drive and possibly purchase the vehicle. We set up the appointment but, when we arrived at the dealership, were told that the truck was at one of their other locations. When we asked why they set up the appointment for a vehicle that wasn't really onsite, the sales manager apologized and offered to drive it to our home later that day. The sales person called several hours later and asked us to come back to the dealership instead of driving it to our home as promised. When we said that we could not drive back to the dealership that evening, he said that he would check with his manager. The manager called us later and told us that he could hold the vehicle for us only if we came in as soon as the dealership opened in the morning. If we could not come in at that time, the vehicle would be sold to another buyer. When I pointed out that they had brought us into the dealership under false pretenses, the manager said that his hands were tied because there was another buyer at the other location.
