I recently had my Velar serviced at Land Rover San Diego, and I was shocked by the exorbitant cost. I had assumed their pricing was competitive and possibly aligned with standard JLR dealership guidelines. However, the service alone cost me a staggering $4,581. In contrast, Hoehn Land Rover in Carlsbad quoted me $2,200 for the same service, and further research online indicates an average price of $1,500 - $1,600. Unfortunately, I didn’t conduct thorough research beforehand, but this experience has convinced me not to return to Land Rover San Diego for any future services or purchases. Buyer beware: always research and compare prices to avoid unexpected costs. It's a costly reminder that not all dealerships have the consumer's best interest at heart.

I have been a client of Land Rover (and this location specifically - which has moved slightly…) for over 30 years and I keep coming back because of the service advisors and their care and help with my vehicles. They go above and beyond with their customer care! They let me know what is wrong with my car, they clearly explain to me what needs to be done to fix it, always provide me an estimate so there are no surprises, and get my car back clean in a timely manner. If there is some sort of set back they contact me and advise me of a time frame and additional work that may need to done because of unforeseen circumstances along with and updated estimate. Gabriel has been my Servie Advisor for the past serval years and I cannot say enough about how impressed I am in all of the afore mentioned areas of providing excellent service! This past experience showed me his true honorable character - he, and Holman Land Rover stood behind the extended warranty I purchased through them with my vehicle and went to bat for me to get the work needed covered. I will continue to be a client and am grateful that Holman has associates like Gabriel working with them, thank you!!

Dishonest experience. We purchased a cpo range a few days ago and the buying experience was amazing and then hours later we have a flat and bring it in and the entire rim was cracked and damaged as if there was a high impact or high speed hit. When telling Ernesto and Alan the sales person they accused us of damaging it ourselves. It was such an insult- we only had the car a couple of hours, havent even driven on the freeway yet only a few miles (less than 10) - obviously we need a new rim and they take NO responsibility for it-i'd like to know where we are high speed chasing with a 3 year old. They tell you whatever to buy the car and then when you need someone to be honest and act with integrity they show you who they really are- beyond disappointing --never purchase from them

Brenda was amazing to work with. We have a newborn and it was difficult to coordinate times to view the vehicles and schedule a test drive. She was very patient with us and kept communication over a few weeks and answered all of our questions. Andrew was equally amazing and made the financial process a breeze! We appreciate them so much and will definitely be back!
