Purchased new tires. I was called by dealership stating I was due for oil change. I agreed and brought the car in for it. When I arrived, they told me I did not need an oil change, it was only a tire rotation at this visit. I had just purchased new tires. They said, it had been around 5K miles, so let's just rotate. I agreed. Then, the first time I drove on the newly rotated tires above 60 MPH, the steering wheel started to wobble. When I called about the wobble, I was told I had done something to the tire in my first 5000 miles and it would cost me to fix. I was not happy but agreed to pay for rebalancing and alignment. The wobble was still there after I paid for service. I called again and again they claimed I had done something to the tires (possibly hit a curb, pothole, etc.). I am the only person who drives my car and I drive about 20K miles per year and have for 25 years for work. I follow service recommendations and keep my car in good condition. I don't have time for excuses for poor work. The solution was to make yet another appointment and talk with the service manager. At this point, I was done being told there was nothing wrong with tires, it was my driving, so I went and requested copies of my service records. More
