Our salesman Jeff Kazee was an absolute gem. He was the only one to approach us in the pouring rain, showed us multiple vehicles and showed us the differences. He did come check in with us multiple times and negotiated closer to what I was asking. I should’ve asked for added accessories. I’m giving this service one star solely because of the pricing—$100 for a simple plate change is outrageous. I want to be clear: my service advisor was professional and courteous, and I don’t place any blame on him. However, I wasn’t given a quote before the work began, and that’s a problem. The task took about 15 minutes, and yet I was charged $100 in labor. I had to negotiate to get the price reduced, but even then, I felt this service should have either been free or at least reasonably priced. Especially frustrating is that a customer service representative previously told me it would be free. As someone who comes in frequently for service, this experience was disappointing. Toyota, you really need to reevaluate your pricing structure for minor tasks like this. More
