I called in the morning made an offer with the internet lady, the sales lady never called me back and when she finally got hold of me she said oh the bike's been sold, not a good way to do business. I sugg lady, the sales lady never called me back and when she finally got hold of me she said oh the bike's been sold, not a good way to do business. I suggest moving on to the next one. Powder Keg Harley-Davidson is an unscrupulous dealership, in my opinion. I'd not do business with them. I saw a bike for sale on their website, so I called to confirm that it was in stock and still for sale. in my opinion. I'd not do business with them. I saw a bike for sale on their website, so I called to confirm that it was in stock and still for sale. The price seemed reasonable. The salesman told me they had the bike for sale for almost six months. He further said the price had been reduced due to the bike not selling. Further, they have a systematic method for mandatory price reductions for aging inventory. He verified the price, and I said I wanted to purchase the bike. He asked if I was interested in financing, and I told him I would finance part of the purchase price. He told me I would need to complete a credit application online. They sent me a link. I finished the application and was approved for the loan. Then the salesman said I needed to speak to the sales manager and transferred me to the sales manager. The sales manager said he needed to go. over the final details. He said there were some additional mark-ups regarding the price. They totaled appropriately an extra $3000. I told him that I was not interested in the additional mark-up items and wanted to buy the bike for the advertised price they had and still have listed on their website. It was Saturday and he said that he would have to talk to the general sales manager regarding honoring the advertised price and get back with me on Tuesday since they would be closed on Monday. When Tuesday morning rolled around, the salesman called me back and said they were unwilling to take the price advertised on their website. He further stated that the price would be the price they have on their website plus an additional approximately $ 3000.00. Who does that? It seems like some form of bait and switch to me. This Harley Davidson dealership is not above board when it comes to honesty. I will send a letter to the appropriate governing agencies regarding this misrepresentation, as I have the support documents to back up my claims. Powder Keg Harley Davidson, do better. If they misrepresent their prices on purchases, I'm confident they would also misrepresent other things. It's been almost a week, and the bike is still listed for sale on their website without the appropriate $3000.00 dealer mark-up. More
Plan on immediately dealing with finance if you want to test ride a bike. Went there weeks ago, and no one called back with my trade in price. I asked why don't you just add that maintenance cost to the price? They said it is industry standard. If that is the standard, what else is "industry standard" about Harley or the dealership? This was going to be my first Harley and was not impressed with the service one bit. The manager acted like I never bought new or used any in my 50yrs of being on this planet. If buying a Harley at a dealer is normal in this way, I can see why Harley is going south! High prices, high maintenance cost, treated as a dodo bird, and hidden greed costs! More
I was working a deal on a 2019 Road Glide CVO and requested a bill of sale before I put a deposit down. All my communication was via text or phone since I live over 1100 miles away. I was told this requested a bill of sale before I put a deposit down. All my communication was via text or phone since I live over 1100 miles away. I was told this would be coming via email two days in a row; nothing....so I tried to call, no answer and then I texted asking if they would be sending the BOS. This what was texted back to me....."Unfortunately, a walk-in deal came in this morning and is signing out on that bike right now. I do however have a couple other Pre-Loved Road Glide CVO's on the floor, I'd love to send you some links, if that's okay with you? My response was not so nice to them. They apparently do not hold bike unless they have a deposit......I guess, when you have been dealing with them since Oct 24th on a specific bike and they never provide you a bill of sale to start my own financing, or opportunity to put a deposit down; where I come from they didnt hold up to there side of the agreement and sold the bike underneath me. Still four days later no personal call, or correspondence from the dealership. WATCH OUT.....Powder Keg Harley-Davidson doesn't represent the quality of Harley Davidson Motorcycle dealers that I have had the opportunity over the past 23 years of working with as a HOG Member. The new general manager offered to come get my bike, perform the service, and return it. At no further cost to me. Now, it's at least an hour and a half ONE WAY to my home. That is above and beyond! The service manager, Jamie Burke, handled my problem personally. You can't top that. I am more than pleased and kinda embarrassed that I complained. Best customer service ever!! More

Strung me along all day refusing deposit on a bike that just came in because it had to be run through the shop to make sure it was safe to sell. 2k miles on bike and said it wouldn’t take long. Call after call to be told they weren’t taking deposits on that bike and they’d let me know by the end of night if manager wanted to take a deposit. Didn’t sit right with me so called manager an hour later and boom! Bike sold minutes before. WHAT? How if you weren’t taking a depoit? DIRTY BUSINESS More
