A lifted wagon
Originally based on the Legacy, the Outback was split off into its own model in 2011. It is still essentially the classic station wagon lifted up by a few inches, meaning it handles and rides better than a standard SUV, and carries just as much. As with all Subarus it comes with standard AWD and a peppy Boxer 4 banger and a functional, intuitive interior.
