VEHICLE OVERVIEWThe 2024 Hyundai Tucson SEL is a compact SUV powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four engine producing 187 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. It achieves an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 25 mpg combined, with 23 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. The Tucson SEL offers seating for five passengers and provides a cargo capacity of 38.7 cubic feet behind the rear seats. Standard features include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless device charging, and Hyundai Digital Key. Safety features encompass forward collision-avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, and rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist. With its blend of performance, technology, and safety, the 2024 Tucson SEL stands out in the compact SUV segment.ANNOUNCEMENTPlease note that Hyundai reacquired this vehicle due to a customer complaint. The vehicle had several issues, including a check engine light, problems with the surround safety system, heater/defrost/AC concerns, dashboard lights turning on incorrectly, and warning lights on the dash that caused a loss of power steering.Hyundai fully resolved this matter under warranty. The instrument cluster assembly was replaced, and all necessary repairs and adjustments were made. The vehicle was inspected, and no further issues, recalls, or open campaigns were found.In the interest of customer satisfaction, Hyundai agreed to repurchase the vehicle.
