VMI (Vantage Mobility Inc.) is an official mobility partner with Chrysler ensuring the best in both vehicle performance and lift operations.With this van, it's all about the ability to move and allow a person bound to a wheelchair access to transportation, whether as a passenger or the driver.The front seats are interchangeable, allowing every person a chance to either drive or relax.The wheelchair lift itself has several awesome features including 'Ramp Assist', (an independent system allowing ramp deployment even if the vehicle battery is dead), Automatic Suspension Lowering, known as 'PowerKneel' which can be toggled off ensuring the right curb height, and 'DuraFloor', which is a rubber flooring which even allows for 360-degree turns in a chair for extra mobility.The lift operates out of the passenger side of the van, but the sliding door on the driver side allows other passengers full access to the rear seats even if the lift is in use.With seating for up to 6-passengers, there is no reason for anyone to stay at home.Some of the tech spec's of the conversion include a 56' ramp door height, a 30' ramp width, 59' of interior headroom, 29.3' ramp door width, a 9-degree ramp angle, & a maximum ramp capacity of 1,000 lbs.Powering this van is a 3.6L V6 engine working with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
