It's got plenty of power, sharp steering and well-balanced handling.'' The Kia EV6's charging time depends on the method used. The EV6 can add up to 70 miles of range in just five minutes, or you can get an 80% charge in around 20 minutes when plugged in at a DC Fast Charging station (Level 3). That's a very fast charge rate, and it's possible because of the EV6's high operating voltage. Plugging in at a 240-volt outlet or a Level 2 public charging station can fully charge models with the 58-kWh battery in six hours (seven hours with the 77-kWh battery). A typical 120-volt household-style power outlet (Level 1) can add a few miles of range per hour, which is helpful in a pinch but not practical long term.
