The 2021 Honda HR-V is a great subcompact SUV. Complete with a ton of cargo room and great fuel economy estimates, itâs one of the most practical vehicles in the class. On top of that, its playful handling makes it somewhat fun to drive. All-wheel-drive models have 23.2 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 57.6 or 55.9 cubic feet with them folded down. The HR-V's only available engine is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder rated at 141 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque. Itâs mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The HR-V EX has a 7-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a second USB port, Pandora compatibility, the HondaLink telematics system, paddle shifters, Active Noise Cancellation, and fog lights. It also gains a six-speaker stereo, satellite radio, HD Radio, automatic climate control, push-button start, proximity keyless entry, heated front seats, and a moonroof. Also standard is the Honda Sensing suite of safety features, which bundles a collision braking mitigation system, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, a road departure mitigation system, and adaptive cruise control. Honda LaneWatch and automatic high-beam headlights are included too.
