This GT500, Chassis L4587, it is rumored, is the last 2020 ever completed. In fact, it is said that this GT500's Golden Ticket winner ordered this car with a painted Over-The-Top Stripe and Side Stripes and that at rumblings of an inevitable shut down to come quickly, the only way this car was to make it out of the factory was to finish it with vinyl. CARBON FIBER TRACK PACK $18,500, TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE $3,000, Black Indoor Car Cover, Painted Black Roof, B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen, Vinyl Over-the-Top Racing Stripe, Vinyl Side Stripes. This particular Golden-Ticket, Very-Limited-Production, Appreciating-Asset Shelby GT500 is absolutely gorgeous. It is perfect, a collector's most prized possession, a driver's favorite performance car. This 2020 model year Shelby GT500 is the most collectable of Ford's Golden Ticket limited production stars of the show. Cut well short because of the COVID pandemic shut down, production was stopped early in 2020 on March 18th. Ford's full-year projection was 5,860 total, 528 finished in Iconic Silver, with approximately only 25 percent of these Shelby GT500s outfitted with the Carbon Fiber Track Pack.
