An Homage to American Muscle and real treat for car enthusiasts, the Mustang BULLITT trim is in honor of the Steve Mcqueen and the 1968 movie BULLITT. During the film it's 9-minute and 42-second chase scene was the first of it's kind  putting the audience inside the vehicle while driving on actual roads and building suspense, without any spoken dialogue. Two Mustang GT 390s were modified for the making of Bullitt  which included a dark Highland Green paint scheme, no exterior badges, scoops or spoilers and adorned with a black-mesh grille absent of Fords iconic pony badging. Ford has only released the BULLITT trim mustang 3 times, 2001, 2008, and for the 50 year anniversary, 2019.
