Positioned above the XLT but below the King Ranch and Platinum, it is often recommended as the most well-rounded trim in the lineup for those who want luxury without the highest price tag.
Standard Engine: 2.7L Twin-Turbo EcoBoost V6 producing 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.
Available Upgrades:
3.5L Twin-Turbo EcoBoost V6 (375 hp / 470 lb-ft).
5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (395 hp / 400 lb-ft).
3.0L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel (250 hp / 440 lb-ft).
Transmission: 10-speed SelectShift automatic for all engines except the base 3.3L (which is not standard on Lariat).
Towing Capacity: Up to 13,200 lbs when properly equipped with the 3.5L EcoBoost and Max Trailer Tow Package.
Fuel Economy: Averages between 17 city / 23 highway MPG depending on drivetrain and engine choice.
