The California T represented a huge leap forward in technological innovation into Ferrari's production models, introducing a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and folding hardtop roof mechanism. The new engine, constructed entirely of aluminum, retained many of the original features but generated a maximum power output of 553 hp at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 557 ft-lbs at 4,750 rpm. This superb drivetrain accomplishes a 0-60 MPH in just 3.6 seconds.
