There were 1,292 Z/28s made for this model year. It has a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine that is paired with a Tremec close-ratio six-speed manual transmission. It features a limited-slip differential, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, 19-inch forged alloy wheels, spool-valve dampers, Z/28-specific aerodynamic treatments, a Kooks performance exhaust system, and Recaro front seats. It is finished in Summit White over black leather and sueded microfiber interior. The vehicle has a vented carbon-fiber insert in the aluminum hood, side skirts, a rear spoiler, and a front splitter. It is finished in Summit White. 19-inch Y-spoke forged alloy wheels with a staggered width. Spool-valve dampers, Performance Traction Management, and Brembo calipers with the Z/28 brand on carbon-ceramic rotors are among the equipment. Z/28 insignia are embroidered on the headrests of the Recaro front sport seats, which are covered in black leather with microfiber suede inserts. Features include a CD stereo, aluminum pedals, air conditioning, and a shift knob coated in microsuede. A 200 mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k rpm redline, and auxiliary instruments are all framed by a multifunction steering wheel that is likewise covered in microfiber suede.
