This âSlicer-Specâ 2013 E92 M3 is that car - set up to be the best handling, accelerating and stopping version of one of BMWs most thrilling cars. Finished in Alpine White, it is clear even at first glance that this is no stock M3. Sitting on a perfectly sized set of gold BBS RI-A wheels, the car is lower than stock but has a purposeful stance thanks to the adjustability of the Ohlins TTX 2-way adjustable shocks and Eibach springs. A subtle styling change is the addition of a Euro-spec front bumper, which is accented by an Alpha GTS front lip. A less subtle addition on the decklid is the OE BMW M235iR wing, which immediately gives the car a racing look and is supported by E92 M3 GTS trunk reinforcements. What you cant see from the photos is that the entire car is wrapped in paint protection film, which will help keep your car free of the many stone chips that are typically picked up out on the track. â Open the door, and youll immediately notice its lighter weight - a set of Motorsport 24 Carbon door cards replace the leather-wrapped originals and do away with things like speakers, shaving many pounds in the process. In front, the driver and passenger seat have been swapped out in favor of a pair of Recaro Profi seats, sitting on Brey Krause side mounts that sit lower in the car and fully engulf you to make sure you dont go anywhere in hard cornering. The original steering wheel has been replaced with an Alcantara-wrapped KMP race wheel that retains buttons for the M-individual settings. Additional weight savings are seen on the center stack, where the stereo and cup holders have been removed and covered over with carbon, while at the rear, a GTS-rear seat delete kit is paired with a GTS-rear roll cage. Where the ashtray would typically be sits a Macht Schnell gauge pod with a trio of Stack gauges to keep better tabs on the cars various systems. â Unlike a lot of builds where the focus is on big horsepower numbers and everything else is secondary, this E92 doesnt utilize power adders like a supercharger, instead opting for maximum speed via handling and braking power. That being said, an Akrapovic mid-pipe and cat back exhaust with titanium tips has been fitted, and the car received a BPM ECU tune. Also, to keep things cool, upgraded CSF cooling components have been added including a radiator, oil cooler, DCT cooler and power steering cooler. The basis for the suspension upgrades is the aforementioned Ohlins TTX shocks and Eibach springs, which are paired with Fall Line reinforced rear trailing arms and camber shim kit along with BW rear camber arm bearings and PSI front sway bar end links. SPL provided front lower control arms, front tension rods, front tie rod ends, rear upper traction links, upper wishbones and a rear toe arm kit. To help slow the car down, a massive AP Racing by Essex Radical big brake kit has been fitted both front and rear with Essex two-piece rotors and AP Racing Pro 5000R calipers. âTo say that this car is built well is an understatement, and we would say its probably one of the most thrilling E92 M3s we have ever driven.
