It comes with two engine options: a 3.8-liter V6 producing 333 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque, or a 4.6-liter V8 delivering 368 hp and 324 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, with rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) options. Fuel economy is around 18 mpg city / 27 mpg highway for the V6, and 17 mpg city / 26 mpg highway for the V8. Inside, the Genesis features leather seating, a 7-inch touchscreen, available navigation, and premium audio. Safety features include anti-lock brakes, stability control, and airbags. With its performance and luxury, the 2012 Genesis is a strong competitor in its class.
