Under the hood is a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produced 430 horsepower and 424 lb-ft of torque from the factory, which is sent through a six-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels. The drivetrain is no longer stock, however, having received GPI polished and ported heads, a GPI SS4 NFC camshaft, GPI hardened pushrods, GPI high-RPM .750 lift valve springs, Chevrolet Performance hollow-stem intake valves, CHE trunnions, Johnson lifters, an ATI SuperDamper harmonic balancer, FIC 850cc injectors, a ported Holley Hi-Ram intake manifold, a Katech 103mm throttle body, a DSX flex fuel sensor, a Monster Clutches twin-disc clutch, and Texas speed 1-7/8' long-tube headers, among many other modifications.
