This example was featured by Audi at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, where the R8 Spyder made its U.S. debut. As a factory-documented show vehicle, it represents one of the most unique and visually memorable configurations presented during the models introduction to the American market. After its appearance at the Detroit show, the car was released directly from Audi to its first and only private owner, who has preserved it in exceptional, museum-grade condition for over a decade. The result is a collector-level R8 with both provenance and an exclusive specification rarely seen in the wild.
