This classic off-road rig from Toyota shared construction features with the Tacoma, yet is unique with its squared off looks (homage to the old FJ series Land Cruiser), a robust 4.0L V6 engine, plenty of ground clearance and wheel travel.Also unique are the backward swinging rear doors. This is especially useful when the rear seats are folded, and you need to get cargo in or out.Each and every 2008 FJ Cruiser used the same engine with this one having a 5-speed automatic transmission. Based on information obtained from Toyota, this FJ has up to 239 HP and a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. when properly equipped.This is a 2WD version, but its stance is similar to the 4WD. With a higher sitting position, the driver has a clearer view of the surrounding traffic.There is seating for up to 5 passengers and even with the age and miles, all the seats are in good condition.
