Summary
This car is noncomparable. It has never been wrecked or damaged, but the first owner bought it back after selling it to a friend, who had it for 12 years. He wanted it back the way it was when he sold it with 1,000 miles on it, so he proceeded to replace anything that showed wear. Over $20k was spent replacing the grille, the headlights, the front bumper cover, the windshield, the seat leathers, the underbody close-out panels, the door sill plates the tire sensors, and the batteries - all with factory OEM parts. Then, new wheels and Michelin run-flat tires, floor mats, and new paint on the front clip, rear bumper and A-pillars. It now looks like it did when it was new in 2008. It's had about 500 miles put on it since this renovation. And yet it's priced like any other 15-year old rock-chipped and tired SL55. No disappointments here!
