We're amazed at the quiet, smooth operation of Ford's early hybrid offering in the Escapes. I've commuted from work to home for a couple of days to check this one out (as we do with all our vehicles) and it was silent as a mouse as I navigated my neighborhood. All the amenities of the conventional Escapes, you're going to have to be ok with way better gas mileage ;) BTW, when you google these hybrid Escapes, you'll find that they get exceptional marks for reliability - as well as impressively long life on the main traction battery (this one is still VERY strong).
