Seller's Comments

The Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 marked a turning point for the Sant'Agata manufactureran analog supercar built in the digital age, and the first major update to the Murciélago platform under Audi ownership. Revealed at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, the LP640 represented a matured, more refined version of the original Murciélago, boasting sharper styling, improved aerodynamics, and a heavily revised 6.5-liter V12 producing 640 horsepower. Power was sent to all four wheels via Lamborghinis viscous all-wheel-drive system, and performance was breathtaking: 060 mph in just 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph.
Visually, the LP640 introduced subtle but impactful changesrevised bumpers, updated lighting, larger air intakes, and the now-iconic single center-mounted exhaust. Inside, the car was offered with optional Q-Citura diamond-stitch leather and upgraded trim, though the real distinction lay in the transmission. Of the estimated 2,183 Murciélago LP640 coupes produced worldwide between 2006 and 2010, only 179 were equipped with a 6-speed gated manual transmission. For the U.S. market, just 26 LP640 coupes were delivered with the manual gearboxmaking this configuration exceedingly rare and highly sought after among collectors.
This 2007 example is one of those 26 U.S.-specification gated manual LP640 coupes, finished in Nero Aldebaran over Nero Perseus leather. The paint remains deep and lustrous, pairing seamlessly with the stealthy character of the Murciélagos angular design. Inside, the cabin presents beautifully, centered around the exposed metal shift gatean icon of mechanical purity in an increasingly automated era.
With 8,310 miles from new, this example has seen limited and conscientious use. It remains in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition, benefitting from recent servicing and careful long-term ownership.
With analog supercars quickly becoming a vanishing breed, the gated Murciélago LP640 represents the end of an eranot just for Lamborghini, but for the supercar segment as a whole. For collectors and enthusiasts alike, this is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most significant and desirable Lamborghini V12s of the modern eraequal parts sculpture, savagery, and sophistication.
