These trucks were always meant to look tough as nails, and so the factory black does a nice job of making the H2s beefy lines look like they were forged from river rocks. In fact, black is often the ideal choice on these, because they were built with so many dark features, like the roof rack, tow hitch, hood insert, and tough-looking bumpers. It all is contrasted by some well-placed bright work that shows off some of the most iconic elements, like the grille and polished wheels. Under the reverse hinged hood sits the legendary 6.0Liter Vortec V8 backed with an automatic transmission with 4X4 and a locking diff. The interior is finished in supple leather, it all has the clean look of proper respect. You get a ton of modern amenities, including power windows, power locks, automatic headlights, keyless entry/alarm, dual airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control, a tilt steering column, power sunroof, and dual-zone automatic A/C climate control.
