This SSR comes in a Black exterior over a nice Black leather interior. Powering this SSR is a 6.0 Liter V8 producing 400 HP paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission geared with a 3.73 rear end. This SSR features; 1SB preferred equipment group, power disc brakes, power leather seats, power windows, a Power retractable top, 3-way powered seats, cruise control, deluxe bed liner with wooden slates, mp3 stereo, steering wheel controls, and more. Performance upgrades include a performance torque converter, Corvette servo, 456 ring and piston gears, MagnaFlow exhaust, and a K&N air intake. The Chevrolet SSR (Super Sport Roadster) is a retro-styled retractable hardtop convertible pickup truck manufactured by Chevrolet between 2003 and 2006. The 2003 and 2004 model years used General Motors' 5.3 L 300 hp Vortec 5300 V8. Performance was 7.7 seconds for 060 mph (097 km/h) with a 15.9 second 14 mile (402.3 m) run at 86.4 mph (139.0 km/h). The 2005 SSR used the 390 hp (291 kW) LS2 V8 also found in the C6 Corvette, Trailblazer SS, and Pontiac GTO, and also offered a manual transmission option, the six-speed Tremec, for the first time. For the 2005 model year, the LS2 engine featured minor modifications that boosted its output to 390 hp (395400 for 2006), respectively. Performance improved dramatically with the LS2.
