Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to offer this single owner 2004 Ford SVT Cobra Convertible. The car is finished in Mystichrome Clearcoat which contains ChromaFlair pigments that shift between topaz green, cobalt blue, royal purple, and deep onyx black. Even the seats and steering wheel had leather color-shifting inserts. The Mystichrome package also included chromed 17 SVT wheels, and was a $3,650 option. With only 1010 of the Mystichrome Cobras produced (515 coupes and 495 convertibles), the collectability of these will only continue to rise. The SVT Cobra was distinguished from the regular Mustangs by unique front and rear valances, body-color mirror caps, rocker-panel moldings, an integrated rear spoiler, and SVT and Cobra badging as well as a vented hood, fog lights, and dual stainless-steel exhaust outlets. The supercharged 4.6Liter V-8 Cobra reverts back to an iron block, which was deemed necessary to handle the higher power output along with the forged steel crankshaft, connecting rods and pistons. The flywheel switches from iron to aluminum for a sizable reduction in both weight and inertia. SVT claims that change alone shaves 0.2 second off both the 0-to-60-mph and quarter-mile times, because it allows the engine to rev so much quicker. Inside, you will find front sport seats upholstered in Dark Charcoal leather with Mystichrome inserts and Cobra emblems embroidered into the front seatbacks. Amenities include power windows, locks, and mirrors in addition to cruise control, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, a power-adjustable driver seat, metal pedal covers, and an upgraded Sony touchscreen radio with Bluetooth and back up camera linked to the factory Mach audio system. The leather-wrapped steering wheel features Mystichrome inserts and frames SVT instrumentation that consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. This 2004 Ford SVT Cobra Convertible is one of the 495 Mystichrome convertibles making it truly a rare find, dont miss the opportunity to get one while you still can.
