Visit car at Hotrodcollection .com We Welcome Trade-ins 2003 Lingenfelter Corvette Z06 This is the holy grail of C-5 Corvettes! This pristine example has been carefully driven just over 4,000 original miles since new. In stock form, the 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is widely considered one of the best Corvettes ever built. However, this incredibly low-mileage example has the Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (''LPE) 427 Twin-Turbo Package, with 700+ horsepower with the potential for more, depending on boost. For those unfamiliar with Lingenfelter's Performance Packages, their Packages are not simply a set of parts sold for installation elsewhere. The only way LPE provided full Packages such as this one was when customers sent a brand-new Corvette to them, and over the course of two to three months, they performed their magic. The process is so much more than just the addition of turbos the entire engine is gone through to ensure each part is spec'd to be reliable with the increased horsepower and torque. This particular build was optioned with race-spec HRE forged alloy wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport rubber, Borla exhaust, aero body enhancements, and more. LPE delivers car Packages with all upgrades installed, dyno-tested, and warranted. The Package price alone was more than the Corvette cost new, not including all the additional options. There's no doubt that owners of Lingenfelter Corvettes are members of a very exclusive group of enthusiasts who choose to own the very best. According to Lingenfelter's Tim Dyer, their testing on a similarly equipped Twin Turbo 427 Commemorative Edition with 725 hp produced a quarter mile E.T. of 11.6 @ 136 mph. This should be easy to match by a reasonably skilled driver, and there is more for those who care to pursue it. Tim Dyer said, ''Take that same car and put a set of drag radials on it, and it would run probably mid to low-10s. If you had a really good driver with real slicks and skinny front tires, you could be in the 9s.'' The Lingenfelter 427 Twin Turbo Package is a perfect upgrade to the Z06 because of the car's factory performance-oriented specs. The Z06 featured a lighter weight body, significantly improved suspension and handling compared to the base Corvette, giving it the factory-engineered capability for the massive power increase of the Lingenfelter Package. This car is in fantastic, un-altered condition and presents with no disappointments. With very few ever produced, and this one quite possibly being the lowest mileage 2003 Lingenfelter Twin Turbo in existence, it's truly a rare opportunity to own a masterpiece of automotive engineering excellence.
