Tim Dyer said, ''Take that same car and put a set of drag radials on it, and it would run probably mid to low-10s. If you had a really good driver with real slicks and skinny front tires, you could be in the 9s.'' The Lingenfelter 427 Twin Turbo Package is a perfect upgrade to the Z06 because of the car's factory performance-oriented specs. The Z06 featured a lighter weight body, significantly improved suspension and handling compared to the base Corvette, giving it the factory-engineered capability for the massive power increase of the Lingenfelter Package.
