When Ford re-introduced the Thunderbird as a coupe, it built it upon the same platform as the luxurious Lincoln LS.For comfort, the 2002 Thunderbird has a fully independent suspension that utilizes a short-long arm design with aircraft-grade aluminum for weight reduction.It is powered by a 3.9L V8 engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission. It has plenty of get up and go with 252 HP and 267 lb-ft. of torque.The 2002 Thunderbird is considered to be a roadster, not a sports car. It does have the bolt-on hardtop but can easily be converted into a convertible.The interior is near pristine in both look and condition.
