2002 Audi TT 225 1.8T 6-speed manual transmission roadster with 143,000 miles.
One private owner since new (recently passed away).
Clean and clear title, clean CARFAX, no issues reported.
16 service and maintenance records. Recent work done (within 10,000 miles) includes spark plugs replaced, front and rear brakes replaced, front struts replaced, clutch replaced, control arms replaced, front axle(s) replaced, oxygen sensor replaced, TIMING BELT REPLACED, thermostat replaced, crankshaft position sensor replaced and radiator replaced.
Runs/drives perfectly. Powerful and smooth engine, good clutch, good Quattro AWD, smooth-shifting transmission, great brakes, tight/responsive suspension and overall a great-running car. Totally reliable, starts first time every time, no mechanical problems or issues. No leaks, no check engine light on, no smoke, no hesitation, etc.Â
This car is stock other than sweet-sounding Borla exhaust, coilover suspension, aftermarket wheels, intake, and driver's seat.
Lower front fascia is crunched and busted up. Other than that, the rest of the body is very good with all-original paint and no significant issues. No rust. Comes on mismatched aftermarket wheels with high-performance summer tires.
Previous owner installed a Cobra racing seat with Simpson 5-point harness. Passenger seat is trashed on the seat bottom portion.Â
Convertible top works up and down just as it should. The convertible top is in good shape overall and does not leak.Â
This is a quick, fun and great-handling Audi TT with tons of potential. Someone can fix up cosmetic issues, replace the seats and enjoy, or could be a track car exactly the way it is, or create your own TT build.Â
