This 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt is a stunning example of one of Ford's most iconic and collectible modern muscle cars. Released as a limited-production special edition, the Bullitt was built to honor the legendary 1968 Mustang GT fastback featured in the classic Steve McQueen film Bullitt. Ford engineers went beyond simple aesthetics, giving the Bullitt not only its distinctive look but also enhanced performance and handling, making it one of the most desirable Mustangs of its era. Based on the Mustang GT, the 2001 Bullitt received several factory upgrades, including a specially tuned 4.6L SOHC V8 engine producing 265 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque, a revised intake manifold, a Cobra-style twin 57mm throttle body, and high-flow mufflers for a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note. Suspension components were upgraded with lowered ride height, revised shocks and springs, and thicker sway bars for sharper handling. The Bullitt also came equipped with larger front disc brakes from the Cobra R, providing serious stopping power. If you're looking for a low-mileage, well-preserved example of one of the most beloved special-edition Mustangs ever built, this 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt is an outstanding opportunity. The vehicle also comes with lots of documentation, all the originally ''goodies'' that came with the car. Furthermore, the original wheels are available with the car. The wheels were removed with less than 100 miles on them and remain in perfect condition.
